A Beautiful Thing

When I first met my boyfriend, I never thought I would ever be in love. I knew what love was but never knew you could be in love with every little imperfection of someone. As we grew in our relationship, I began to learn everything about him and what made him,him. The things that made him himself made me continue to grow in love with him. As we continue our relationship, I grow more in love with him every second of every day. Earlier this week, I wrote down my insight of being in love, here it is. Love is fragile, love is rough. Love is a fight but most of the time it’s a breeze. When I hear the word love, I think of many things. I think of my love for the simple things such as sunsets, puppies, etc. I even think of the more complex things such as love for my friends and family. Being in love is the most complex of them all. Being in love with someone is a fight but it is a fight that you will never lose if you are fully committed. It is never a weight on your shoulder. Being in love is adoring that person and wanting to know their passions, dreams, interests, and inspirations. It is looking at every imperfection they have and turning it into a imperfectly perfect characteristic. It is looking into his eyes and seeing what it would be like to look into his eyes every day and night. Looking into his eyes and seeing the faces of your kids, the color of your dream house, etc. It is meeting his parents and thanking them for raising such a gentleman. Love is worry, it is kissing him goodbye and praying that he makes him home so he can always be here with you. It is the fear of losing him and tears begin to come to your eyes. It is thinking of losing him and getting a hopeless feeling in your

heart. Love is also faith. It is trusting in his words. It is trusting in his actions. It is trusting that God will lead you both on the right path for the both of you, no matter what the circumstance is. Love is many things, it is a roller coaster that never stops. It has it’s downs, ups, left turns, right turns, loops, and can sometimes be completely upside down. The last thing it is, is a journey. It is a journey that has a different adventure each and every day. All of these things make up the commitment of marriage when the time for the two of you is perfect.I am so happy to be in a relationship that is a never- ending journey of falling even harder for him than I did the day before. Homecoming Maid Photography

Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the entire day at the Homecoming festivities at the Perkinston campus and capture the entire day through a lens. As many know, everywhere I go I have the camera wrapped around my neck like it is a add- on to myself. To me, photography is a way of capturing your memories and special events and being able to save them to any device so that you can remember and reflect on special memories and moments of your life that you might not ever be able to relive. Waking up at 9am to spending all day capturing her special day, was something that I was blessed to be a part of and blessed to have been able to be the one to capture these sweet moments so that she will always have these photos in order to reflect back on such a special day for her. Out of a thousand photos, I picked four that I am absolute in awe over and ones that capture her happiness and joy over being able to represent the campus. The Life of Ky

Hi there! So glad you found your way to my little blog.
So here is a little about myself, I am a young southern gal living in the small town of Biloxi, Mississippi. I have lived here my entire life and am blessed with the most wonderful parents and an older brother, which of course means I have always had a shoulder to lean on and someone to look up to while growing up.  I am 19 years old and have been very blessed throughout my entire life. I am in my college career and am looking to continue my major in journalism. I have the most amazing best friends, which I am sure I will be writing about, especially blogs about our crazy adventures. I am also blessed to have met my forever very early on in life. I started dating Cameron last year and let me tell ya... he is the most amazing human on earth and has became my best friend. He is a very important part of my life and he has completely changed my life around and inspired me in many ways. You'll definitely be reading a ton of blogs about C and our goofy adventures and special moments we share together. Some things I am very passionate about is photography and journalism. I decided to start this blog to show my love for journalism and share with others the fun of it, also to share some of my photos from adventures I go on or any moments I have captured through a lens. During my free time, you would most likely find me painting, enjoying a day at the beach, or spending quality time with friends and family. Another thing I am very passionate about is an organization called the Anthem of Hope. It is a organization ran by a widow of a pastor that took his own life after suffering from anxiety and depression. This organization is a mental illness group that reaches out to people all around the world who are struggling with mental health and seek to find them help with whatever they are struggling with. I recently became a influence and joined the movement to hopefully reach out and help people in my community who struggle with mental illness. The last and most important thing I am very passionate about is my faith with the Lord. I attend Church of the King and am very blessed to have a church family that pushes me in my faith daily. I am hoping you are as excited as I am about this blog and I expect to write about friendships, relationships, faith, and many other lifestyle choices that keep you just a brewin' along in your daily life!
